In 2024, Loyola’s Advancement team partnered with Post Captain Consulting to reimagine their annual giving day, better known as Greyhounds Give. Their goal? Replace third-party giving software with a custom Slate solution that delivers a seamless donor experience while achieving long-term cost savings.

Building Out a Better Giving Experience for All

At Post Captain, we build solutions that simplify the complex, helping teams focus on what matters most. For Loyola, building for better meant creating a custom giving portal that could match the engagement and polish of platforms like GiveCampus, without the licensing fees. The result was a Slate-powered experience that broke fundraising records, streamlined staff workflows, and gave Loyola full ownership of their future campaigns.

To ensure success, we built two connected portals (one for the university-wide campaign and one for athletics) to create a seamless donor experience across all audiences. From goal tracking to live donor counts and giving challenges, every detail was built with both impact and ease of use in mind.
