What is your favorite Summit / Slate Community memory?
My favorite memory comes from Summit 2025 in Las Vegas, where I was part of the Technolutions team and led the onsite badge printing operation for all attendees.
Seeing thousands of Slate community members wearing their personalized badges and settling comfortably into their seats for the Summit Opening Session is something I won’t soon forget.
What’s your favorite type of project?
One that uses Slate as an all‑in‑one system, especially for Advancement teams. I love projects where Slate replaces a collection of redundant, expensive tools and brings everything under one roof. When clients list the software systems they’ve replaced and celebrate the budget savings it’s always a highlight.
When you’re not Slating, what are you doing?
When I’m not Slating or planning new Slate projects with Post Captain clients, I’m usually off exploring new corners of the world. I love landing in a new place and finding my footing by being curious, with the same excitement I get from opening a new book.
Some of my happiest times are spent with my wife and our two kids in the middle of nowhere, connecting with locals while soaking in whatever place we’ve wandered into.
